At Team EBRC, we believe every young person deserves a nurturing, engaging, and practical learning environment where they can thrive. Our holistic approach blends academic learning with therapeutic, hands-on experiences to build confidence, independence, and key life skills, helping learners progress at their own pace in a supportive setting.
Our New Indoor Barn Provision
We are delighted to introduce our brand-new indoor barn, a calm, flexible space that goes beyond a traditional classroom. Here, learners access dedicated classrooms for core subjects like Maths and English, with small group sizes and tailored support from specialist staff, ensuring they build confidence and achieve qualifications in a nurturing environment.
Alongside academic learning, our barn provides therapeutic, hands-on opportunities, helping young people engage practically while developing key skills and a love of learning.
Petting Farm & Animal Interaction
Our indoor barn is also home to a wonderful petting farm, offering learners the chance to connect with and care for animals in a structured, safe environment. Young people can interact with chickens, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds, learning about animal care while building confidence, responsibility, and nurturing skills.
Additionally, our learners have opportunities to interact with our ponies and take horse riding lessons, which support physical coordination, trust-building, and emotional regulation. These experiences enrich our learners’ days, providing therapeutic benefits that complement their academic studies.
A Holistic Approach to Learning
Our new barn provision embodies Team EBRC’s holistic approach, combining academics, therapeutic animal experiences, and practical learning to support personal growth and well-being. Whether learners are building literacy and numeracy skills, developing confidence through hands-on activities, or learning to care for animals, our indoor barn is a welcoming space where every young person can thrive.
